Md. Sohel Rana is a dedicated theatre practitioner with extensive experience in acting, directing, and theatre education. A founding member of Spardha, he has played a significant role in shaping Bangladesh's theatre landscape. As a director, he has helmed productions such as Mrittyuchakro, Shopnonagar, and Bishesh Droshtobbyo, while also contributing as an assistant director to renowned plays like Tartuffe and Tokolosh. Beyond direction, he has performed in numerous productions, including Hamlet, Macbeth, and Rezwan, showcasing his versatility as an actor. His work extends beyond the stage into street theatre and film, and he is also an experienced theatre educator, specialising in acting and the Meyerhold method at the Prachyanat School of Acting and Design. Additionally, his expertise in production management and light operation highlights his all-encompassing dedication to the art of theatre.
